Introduction of the Members :
Leymer folk Music & Dance Group of Boushehr has begun his artistic activity since 1991.
Many artists whom are the best in their work has been played in the band in different situations .
Of course, it should be mentioned that using different artists and players in various forms of performing of music of Boushehr is inevitable.
Fixed Members of Leymer folk Music & Dance Group of Bushehr:
1.Seyed MohammadReza Beladi: Director of the group and player of Dammam
He is one of the experts in playing Ney- Anban(Bag pipe) as well as the forms and styles of his instrument. He is chemical Engineer and with more than 20 years of artistic activity, has many experience in western and eastern music.
Singer of the group is one of the best in his work .Although the song part of music of Boushehr has different forms, but he is able to perform all the kinds.
Player of Timpo and “Zarb& Timpo” .He comes with natural talent in playing the percussion instruments. he has a new passion in playing .It is interesting to mention that all the members in his family has a wonderful talent in playing the musical instruments of their region .
Player of Deyreh Zangi. He is Graphist .He knows Flute ,too.
6.Mohammadreza Shooshtarinejad:
Player of " Zarb o Timpo " he is one of the best player of percussion instruments .
Other Members
1.MAHMUD JAHAN
He had been working with the group for two years as well as singer of Bandari songs with more than 30 years of experience .He has several Albums too.
2. AHMAD ALISHARAFI
He had been worked with the group about 3 years. He is one of the masters in playing of “Ney Anban” and “Ney Jofti” and has an experince of more than 40 years of playing .Also he gains the title of “Best Player “ in Iran for several times. “Josef Kuckerts” and “MohammadTaghi Massudieh” with referring to him have written the music part of the book ” Music of Boushehr”.
3. ALI DASHTI
He has been performing with the group several times. He is the only survivor of old religious music of Boushehr as well as the best reference of this kind of music.
He was the reference in Kuckertz and Masudieh book, too.
4.JAFAR BARDAKNIYA
One of the best player of Dammam in south of Iran who is died several years ago and had been performing with the group. His fame was for using the style and method of the ancient Dammam players of Boushehr.He also Knew the other instruments of Boushehr like Ney Anban and Deyreh.
5.BAHRAM MEHRBAKHSH
He had cooperated with the group for about 4 years .He is Player of Ney Anban and has a passion in his work
6.BABAK NIKZAT
Player of Dammam and cooperating with the group for about 4 years. He has B.A in Music .He plays Piano as well as Flut .His main activity is composing.
